The Ragdoll Bride by WaterLily-Gems The Ragdoll Bride by WaterLily-Gems
Well here it is. The fancy one that I warned you about. I still think it's a tad too dark. I've been experimenting with textures and lighting techniques. I do like her dress though!

Original

by :iconaidesu: if you wish to praise the lineart and idea, I suggest you do so there. I'll mostly only answer to colouring comments on Da.
*I do not own the original lineart or concept. I have merely reproduced and coloured it
Coloured with photoshop

Is the background watercolour or is it digital as well? It just fits the picture so perfectly :)

It gives off an aura of "In the background there is a dark yet magical forest of which we are in a clearing of"

I really like how you colored it. It's simplistic yet the shading on the dress is detailed enough to look sort of... real... i can't think of a more apropriate term to use here. It's great how you used mainly blues and cool grays, just like in the movie.
Also, the background is a pretty nice touch. Did you use photoshop for the background too? :)

 Thanks so much for your awesome comment! I did spend a lot of time on the dress, I'm glad you like it! I tried to make it like the original without making it stand out too much from the rest of the picture. Yep, it's all photoshop, I basically just blobbed as many ink splatter brushes as I could on to it :P
